Treatments in Turkey: the essentials before you book
For each treatment: how it works, how long you need to stay in Istanbul, when you can fly home and return to work, the main risks, and the questions to ask the clinic. Durations are typical ranges from UK and US professional bodies; your surgeon or dentist sets your own plan.

Tummy tuck
A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) removes loose skin and fat from the lower abdomen and usually repairs separated stomach muscles.
Liposuction
Liposuction removes stubborn fat deposits through small incisions; it shapes the body but is not a weight-loss treatment.
Brazilian butt lift (BBL)
A Brazilian butt lift (BBL) uses liposuction to take fat from the abdomen, flanks or back and injects it into the buttocks.
Breast augmentation
Breast augmentation increases breast size with silicone implants (or, less often, your own fat).
Breast lift
A breast lift (mastopexy) raises and reshapes sagging breasts by removing excess skin and repositioning the nipple.
Mommy makeover
A “mommy makeover” combines several operations – usually a tummy tuck, a breast lift or augmentation and liposuction – in one session.
Rhinoplasty
Rhinoplasty reshapes the nose and can also improve breathing (septorhinoplasty).
Facelift
A facelift lifts the deeper tissues of the lower face and neck and removes excess skin.
Eyelid surgery
Blepharoplasty removes excess skin and fat from the upper and/or lower eyelids.

Veneers are thin shells bonded to the front of the teeth to change their colour, shape or alignment.
Zirconia crowns
A crown covers the whole tooth after it has been filed down on all sides.
Dental implants
A dental implant is a titanium (or zirconia) screw placed in the jawbone to replace a missing root, later topped with a crown.
All-on-4 / All-on-6
All-on-4 (or All-on-6) replaces a full arch of teeth with a fixed bridge supported by four (or six) implants.
