Our methodology
Every profile is based on public and official sources, cited at the bottom of the page, with the date of the last check. We add nothing that neither the facility nor an authority publishes.
1. Official sources
The international health tourism licence from the Turkish Ministry of Health; accreditation bodies (for example Joint Commission International); the facility’s official website.
2. What a profile contains
Name, city and address, type of facility, specialties, accreditations claimed, website languages, date checked and links to sources.
3. Prices
We only publish prices that facilities show on their own official website, with a link and the date. We don’t use prices from comparison sites or estimates. A price page is only indexed once at least three facilities publish prices. The final price is always set by the facility after assessment.
4. Order
Profiles are ordered by search interest from the UK. The order is not a quality ranking.
5. Updates and corrections
Profiles are reviewed regularly. Facilities and patients can report errors; we correct them after checking.
